Ready to party it up in a Tulum-inspired pop-up? Pergola Paraiso is coming to London – here’s what you need to know.
Picture this: a Margarita in one hand, a taco in the other, and the funky sounds of central America getting you all fired up. Heaven, right?
You would be forgiven for thinking you had landed yourself in Mexico. But no – this is Pergola Paraíso… and it’s coming to Paddington on 28th April.
Pergola Paddington is no stranger to transforming its rooftop space into flamboyant pop-ups. In fact, the recent Wunderbar and Deck the Halls takeovers proved popular amongst those looking for a healthy dose of escapism from the capital.
But this reincarnation of the rooftop bar looks set to be the best one yet – and after a couple of pretty dreadful years, we think you’ll agree that a hit of sunshine is very much needed.

Beautiful Tulum-Inspired Decor
Wander through the iconic arched entrance and step into a tropical paradise, complete with beach-style furniture and a smattering of Mexican plants that really hike up the authenticity points. It’s the dreamiest location to spend the afternoon chilling in a hammock with your friends.
Want to go all out? You can book yourself onto a cabana-style daybed, which is perfect if you’re celebrating. Or just fancy hanging out there for the best part of an entire day, soaking in the Tulum-inspired vibes.
Excitingly, Pergola Paddington will also be introducing a large dance floor for Paraíso (something we noticed that the previous pop-ups were missing!) so you can boogie as a huge roster of DJs spin beachy house music into the night.
If that wasn’t special enough, the venue will also be hosting ticketed weekly ‘Dusk’ events, which look set to be magical – think dancers, fire performers, live music, and DJs bringing a really authentic feel of Tulum to London. We can’t wait.
A Taste of Mexico
Now, the vibes are off the charts… but what about the food and drink? Don’t fret – Pergola has partnered with Corona in order to create the ultimate summer experience.
Corona will be on draught, and the beer brand is even introducing a brand new alcohol-free offering, Corona Cero, for those who don’t need a helping hand to party.
Food-wise, expect a whole host of wonderful Mexican eateries to feature. The likes of Crudo Cevicheria and Dos Mas Tacos will be bringing their authentic cuisine and an extensive menu of Margaritas to really get the party started.
As well as that, weekly events such as Margarita Mondays and Taco Tuesdays will be on offer. But don’t worry, the Filth&Co burger shack is still there, and it will also be totally reimagined into a Tulum-style joint.
If you haven’t already cleared your diary so that you can head over to Pergola Paddington ASAP, what are you waiting for?
