Let it Snow! The Eurostar Snow Will Take You Right to Your Favourite Ski Resort

Eurostar Snow tickets are now on sale. Is it time to start thinking about that winter holiday?

With the autumn setting in it’s perhaps time to start looking to the winter holidays. If you like to spend the colder months slipping and sliding down the mountains of Europe on a pair of skis, you’ll probably want to get a load of the Eurostar Snow.

That’s the rail connection you can make from London on the Eurostar to some of the top ski resorts in Europe. It runs every Saturday from the 16th of December 2023 to the 4th of February 2024, with return legs on Sundays, and should help you get to your holiday without clocking up too many air miles.

Where Does the Eurostar Snow Go?

Eurostar

The service leaves London St Pancras International on Saturday mornings and runs to Lille, France where it will split off and you can take connections to a choice of five ski resorts.

Chambéry and Albertville – both stunning alpine towns – are on the list of destinations, as are the southeastern French spots of Moûtiers-Salins-Brides-Les-Bains, Aime-la-Plagne, or Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

We should mention that this service is nothing new. The Eurostar has been running a ‘Snow’ service since the late 90s. It is one of the most popular and convenient routes to get to ski resorts without flying though.

The thing is that tickets are now on sale for this season, so if you want to get stuck into some of this winter holiday action, now’s the time to start thinking about it.

Alternate Options

Eurostar

Although this is one of the most popular and convenient routes to get to ski resorts without flying, we think you should be aware that there are alternate options that might save you a few quid at the expense of a slightly longer journey.

That option would be to take the Eurostar to Lille and then hopping on a regular old train to your destination.
