Time to Get Excited – An Immersive David Attenborough Experience  is Coming to London

There’s a full-on immersive David Attenborough documentary experience coming to London. Here’s what you need to know.

The word “immersive” gets thrown around a lot these days. Companies will pretty much chuck it in front of anything to get people’s attention (and it usually works).

But when we heard about this upcoming exhibition, our hearts melted at the presence of that bit of marketing jargon.

London is getting an immersive David Attenborough documentary experience. It opens at the Daikin Centre on the 30th of March 2023, and will run until the 31st of July 2023

What to Expect

The experience takes footage from Attenborough’s 2019 nature docco Seven Worlds, One Planet and projects them up onto multiple, massive, multi-angle screens (alliteration intentional).

You’ll get to wander room to room and enjoy shots of the natural world in super hi-def while Attenborough’s soothing voice narrates what you’re seeing – probably exactly what you want if a giant spider or snake pops up enlarged on the screen.

All seven continents will feature, so you’ll get a look at a range of different habitats and animals. Word is there’s fireflies creating stunning light shows, hamsters scrapping for food, and snub-nosed monkeys huddling to keep warm – but obviously that’s just the tip of the iceberg.

Needless to say, something of this scale and involving the nation’s most treasured man will be a massive hit. We can barely keep a lid on our excitement.
