Skylight – the day-to-night adult playground has been one of London’s go-to spots since it opened in 2017. Now they’re opening a new location – Skylight Peckham on the 19th August and it looks hella good.
Run by the same team as the Tobacco Dock original – this promises to be one of the season’s hottest new openings.
The 250-person capacity venue will be perched on the top of the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts on Peckham Square. Expect chic rooftop cocktails, cool events and delicious food set amidst sweeping views of the city.
Now Peckham’s no stranger to rooftop bars, as anyone who’s ever visited Frank’s or the Bussey Building Rooftop will know – but with its oh-so-grammable exterior with pastel, zinc and marble features – it looks like Skylight Peckham is going to make its presence known.
By day it’s all about sun-soaked drinking, by night, cocktails, dinner and the bright city lights twinkling away in the background.
It doesn’t just stop there either. Skylight’s calendar promises an exciting mix of brunches, DJ nights and live music to complement.
Food & Drink at Skylight Peckham
The cocktail list is courtesy of Skylight’s in-house mixologist Sebastian Hollingworth. Obviously they’re keeping the full list under wraps for now but with highlights including the oh-so-drinkable Cinco Picante – tequila and Cointreau mixed with homemade chilli liqueur infused with five different spices and sweetened with peach – it’s sure to impress.
Food-wise, they’re focusing on small plates, with dishes such as Burrata with Tropea Onions, n’duja, smoked aubergine and peppers on toasted sourdough making a much-welcome appearance.
